Calder's Consultancy is the name under which Helen Calder provides input to charities, churches and individuals.

Helen is a business graduate with 12 years’ experience in the glass and brewing industries, rising to senior management level. During the late 1980s she was the most senior woman in an organisation of 6,000 people. As part of a calling to use her business skills in the Christian sector Helen studied theology at St John’s College Nottingham, obtaining a certificate in theology with distinction.

From 1991 to 1999 Helen was part of the ministry team at All Souls Church, Langham Place, where she was director of administration. Helen worked for the UK Evangelical Alliance from 1999 to 2016. She was appointed executive director: finance and services in 2007. Helen left the Alliance in 2016 to pursue a portfolio career including advising Christian organisations and churches in the UK and overseas.

Helen has been a trustee of several Christian charities. She has a passion for effective management in Christian organisations and for getting the right balance between faith and good financial management. Her gifts include leadership, administration and hospitality.
